True Vine Baptist Bible Institue
The True Vine Baptist Bible Institute is a 3-year Bible intense course taught by Pastor Ed Ware on Tuesday evenings and Saturday mornings from September through May. Although Pastor Ware does not recognize secular or government approval of graduation requirements and diplomas, a student can earn a Certificate of Christian Studies upon completion of the curriculum.
Street Evangelism
True Vine Baptist Church does public ministry on Friday evenings in the Tempe, ASU area, and public "street meetings" in Glendale and Phoenix locations at various times of the year, as the Lord leads. The Bible says:
1Corinthians 1:18 "For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God."And so it is, that the world (and many "Christians") sees this preaching as "foolishness". The current ruler of this world (Satan) is revealed in
2Corinthains 4:4 "In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them."Finally, the apostle Paul, undoubtedly the greatest Christian that ever lived wrote of the true ambassador;
1Cor.4 : 10 "We are fools for Christ's sake".The question remains: whose fool are you?
Music for Children and Adults
Having a conviction of listening to and learning about the right kind of music (Eph. 5:18, 19) and under the direction of the pastor, Mrs. Susan Ware has been teaching both adults and children how to read music, discern the differences in Godly and ungodly music, and play the piano. With her background and years of practical learning, she believes that children especially need to discern what is spiritual music and what is carnal music. She emphasizes that the current trends in the music industry, such as Contemporary Christian Music, have its roots in the devil's line of music, is ungodly and promotes rebellion. Mrs. Ware also gives a history of music so that a Christian can grow in grace and knowledge about what magnifies or detracts from a church service.
